So, I tried again…primarily to make Bambi Chili again. Figured to allow it to be consumed to a wider audience to lighten the spiciness a little. I wanted it to still exist, but not be where I have it which turns people into ticking napalm bombs. I think I’ve suceeded in that. I think the next time, I will go into Napalm Mode! Or not.
So Chip comes up yesterday, showing off and opening a package in front of me. After a little bit of drama, he finally has a cell phone that I had shown him a few weeks ago and couldn’t stop thinking of it afterwards (bwahahaha, Christopher: making your wallet thinner every month!)…you’re welcome! He was remarking how small it was, but he says that with about every phone he gets! Of course, six months later I’ll show him yet another phone that he’s gonna have to have…har har har! We’ll see, but hey…it’s his birthday today, so he can put his wallet on a diet if he wants to!

The Bourne Ultimatum comes out today. We’ll see, it is Chip’s birthday weekend so either I may succeed in squeezing Matt Damon’s explosiveness (okay, that sounded creepy!) in the weekend schedule somewhere or I’ll just watch it next weekend. It’s all good. Wayne told me he’s never seen any of the previous Bourne movies, so I promptly let him borrow both of my movies and hopefully he’ll get caught up enough to possibly watch Ultimatum some time soon.
It’s also about that time…NNO is here! I’m hoping to be sure to show up to that next week, it’s always fun for me to hang by and watch and talk. Hopefully I may also have some pictures to go with it. I can’t wait…it’ll be in a more visible location this time, so hopefully turnout will be better than last year since I had to Google Map it (in Mesquite, of all places!) back then.
Also, tipped from Hyewon…she found out who the strange Polysics dancing girl is! Her name is Mao Murakami…Hyewon left me a MySpace comment some time back showing the video…interesting. The page with the link above has that video, look for a schoolgirl in a blank room that says “Polysics” above…though the other videos are fun to watch too. It’s weird though…on one moment, her and her father are in their robes in their Buddhist temple and the next moment they look like they stuck their hand in one of my radar cabinets!
Oh well…the week’s been slightly normal for me, just not in general. My prayers still go out to those affected by the bridge collapse. Other than one machine’s programming hiccups (not my fault!) and another machine’s controller going down and it being a brand new model that I’ve never seen before, and I lost probably five gallons of water via sweat trying to help get it to run (it’s getting a bit warmer now…they’re even thinking of forecasting triple digit highs in the upcoming week!). But other than that, it’s wrapped up nicely. Oh well, I’m off!
